Christoph Meier is a certified Scrum Master (CSM) and Certified Scrum Professional (CSP) from Zürich, Switzerland.
Despite the fuzzyness of the word he likes to call himself an Agile Coach, as he uses more coaching than recipe approaches to challenge teams and individuals. Originally a biologist and musician he somehow stumbled into the world of software as a developer and – well – over the years developped himself into his better self of dealing with groups and humans rather than technology.
As a co-founder of Sfera he is now very much into Sociocracy 3.0 aka S3 as a way of being “Agile” on an organizational level. He is still wondering what part of the human mind and emotions keeps organizations struggling with the simple concepts of Agile practices. He suspects that there is a trust issue.
Christoph’s session at Agile Tour Zürich 2019:
Self-Organisation: the Path to Happiness or to Hell?
Everyone can do everything anytime anyhow. Is this Agility or Self-Organisation? No, this is chaos. Sociocracy 3.0 (S3) is not a method nor a framework nor a religion. It is a helpful set of principles and tools for effective collaboration. It is the missing link not mentioned in the Scrum guide.
